We've had a busy summer and as fall seems to be upon us, it's about time to wrap up the last month or so here on the blog. Most of these pictures I've already posted elsewhere, but now they can live on the blog forever more. Here's what we've been up to lately:
^^We got outside a TON.
^^One weekend we went to Eagle Island for the first time and Everett loved it. The water was perfect and Everett was quite the little fishy. I wish we would have taken food with us so we could have stayed longer. Next summer!
^^We walked to Goody's a few more times than I'd care to admit. Because, ice cream. We met up with Emorie and Will (and Pippin) and everyone but me played Pokemon on their phones. Cool!
^^This guy loves getting into everything. Once when we were at my parents' house doing laundry, I stuck him in a basket just to contain him for a few minutes. Turns out he loved it. He also thought that Amazon box was pretty cool. And everyone knows car seats are way more fun to be in when they're not in the car.
^^He's such a ham, this one. And no one has ever looked cuter with a backwards baseball hat.
^^We love shopping. And Target. I'm sure one day he won't want to be seen with me in public, so I drag him around with me wherever I can.
^^Tyler took Everett on a walk on the Greenbelt to play Pokemon Go with Preston while I went to a baby shower and Everett clearly had a blast.
^^A couple weekends ago, we went to see the balloons take off on Saturday morning for the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. It's one of my favorite things that Boise does every year, but the past few years we've been too lazy to get up that early on the weekend to go. This year I wanted to go even more because I knew it would blow Everett's mind- he loves balloons! Luckily Everett woke up super early that morning so we were awake anyway. I'm so glad we went! It took Everett a few minutes to get why we were at the park with hundreds of other people, but once he saw the balloons in the sky- MAGIC.
^^At his 9 month well check. So glad there weren't any shots involved this time! He even got a new book from Dr. Kiehl.
^^We've gone to the library a couple times (mostly because you can only read baby books so many times before you lose your mind) and picked out a few books for Everett. He is loving reading lately and I am happy to oblige. :)
^^We bought a bike trailer and tested it out in our neighborhood. We've gone one a couple rides on the Greenbelt since then and as long as Everett isn't tired, he seems to love it.
^^Just hanging out at Big Bun.
We had lots of fun this summer, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited for cooler weather (which we've already been spoiled with) and the holidays ahead. Christmas, yay! :) And someday soon I promise to post pictures of our house. We did that too this summer. We're homeowners!! Until next time.
