Lots of pictures and a little of what we've been up to the past month or so...
^^My Grandma came to visit from California, so Everett finally got to meet his other great grandma. They instantly hit it off. :) Now we need to come see you, Grandma!
^^Everett and I still take a bunch of selfies. Pretty much whenever I see him reaching for my phone I turn the camera on. Keeps him entertained for a good 60 seconds before he tries eating my phone. :)
^^Everett started eating cereal and other baby foods this month. So far he's tried peas, carrots, sweet potato, banana, and avocado. The only thing he didn't like was avocado. He spit that right out. No guacamole for him, I guess.
^^This is Bo's reaction to us feeding Everett food. Poor pup.
^^We've been enjoying the weather before it gets too crazy hot. Last week, I took Everett and Bo out on the greenbelt for a couple hours. The river is crazy high right now, but that didn't stop us. Bo even got a drink out of the river, which is rare. And Everett kills me in those glasses. Also, I can't remember if we've ever taken Bo to the greenbelt. He was in heaven.
^^We made it to the top of Tablerock! We've hiked it a couple times now, but it still feels like an accomplishment. I think it actually might have been easier when I was pregnant. I'm so out of shape and Everett is so heavy. It's a good workout though, and there's no denying I need the exercise.
^^We went for a hike with Aunt Jeni and my mom one morning last week. My mom bought those sunnies for Everett, so a picture was mandatory. Probably would have been more legit if we'd taken the picture outside.
^^Last Friday Caleb joined us for a hike around the military reserve. The weather was perfect. And they were way ahead of me most of the time because long legs. Also, I was wearing Everett. This old guy gave us a hard time when he saw that instead of one of them carrying Everett, I was. In my head I was thinking, I don't need a man to carry my baby for me! But instead I said, "I carried him for nine months already, so this is nothing." BOOM.
^^Sidney and Josie came to Boise for Memorial Day weekend. It was so fun to see them. Everett and Josie were especially cute together! I love that he'll always have a cousin close in age to him. :) And that picture of Everett scratching his head is my favorite. He looks like he forgot to do something important.
^^My oldest and dearest friend Kylie also came to Boise over the long weekend. She and her mom came out to my parents and had lunch with us. It's always such a treat catching up with her and getting to see her and Everett interact is the best.
^^Someone was exhausted after a long weekend of visiting friends and family. And he looked so cute with his foot sticking out of his crib, I couldn't not be a creeper and not take this picture.
Other stuff you might want to know:
+Tyler started his new job and is liking it so far. I'm glad he finally has a job that he's excited about!
+We're starting to look for a house!! I would love to stay in Boise, but that most likely won't happen. And why do houses in the North End have to be so expensive? Someone wanna just give us a super cute craftsman style home with an updated kitchen and a nice backyard? Yeah?
+I've lost all my pregnancy weight, but I'd love to lose more to get back to where I was a few years ago. Why does it have to be so hard?! I'm not into dieting (especially since I'm breastfeeding- I'm hungry all the time!) and I can't seem to find the motivation to do any exercise other than hiking and walking. Guess I'll just be chubby forever. Ahahahaaaa.
+I got Everett a swimsuit and I can't wait to get him in the pool. Judging by how much he loves baths, I think he'll be into it.
+I'm taking Everett with me to Girls' Camp later this month. It'll be the first time Tyler and I will spend the night away from each other since we've been married, which is nuts. I probably won't sleep for 3 nights, which should be fun.
+Everett is 26 weeks old today and I just can't believe it's been six months since he was born. HOW?
Have a happy weekend!
