Happy New Year & Stuff

Is it too late to say happy new year? No? Good! It's 2015! Yay! We had an exceptionally good holiday season and I thought I'd share a few pictures. If you follow me on Instagram you've probably already seen all of these. Sorry? Also, how are we halfway through January already? Wasn't yesterday Christmas? I've got a feeling this year is going to fly by, too. Anyway, here's what we've been up to.

^^Christmas goodies and our advent wreath all lit up!

^^Bo had a really good Christmas. He got a ton of new toys and treats and bones and was basically in doggie heaven. He was also pretty exhausted for like three days straight from us dragging him around everywhere. I also got spoiled and look at all those German goodies we got for Christmas! I think that should last us until at least March. ;)

^^My friend Moo invited us to the Karen New Year Celebration last weekend. I went with my good friend Kylie and enjoyed the program and then ate as much of the food as I could that Moo piled our plates with. It was a fun morning! Also, I need one of those dresses.

^^My baby brother, Aaron, turned 21 on Thursday! To celebrate, my mom took us all out to dinner at Barbacoa. That place is crazy ridiculous and the food is also ridiculous. Ridiculously good that is. Bacon wrapped filet mignon, anyone?

Other things:
+We were both sick on New Year's Eve and spent the night at home on our couch. I think I watched something like 7 episodes of Gilmore Girls. We were in bed by 10:30. We sure know how to party!
+Tyler started classes again and I'm trying not to binge watch Gilmore Girls the entire time he's gone. The struggle is real, people.
+We got switched to teaching the 8 year olds in Primary and are loving it so far. We missed being in there. The kids in our class are pretty fun, too. Tyler got a new calling on top of that, which is going to keep him extra busy, especially on Sundays.
+I got a bunch of books for Christmas and have already made it through two of them- Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me and Yes Please. Both excellent. Winter is perfect for reading!
+I got a new thing which I am currently typing this blog post on and I love it.
+One of my new years resolutions was to be kinder to my body and two weeks in, I feel great! I'm exercising more, eating more veggies than ever and tracking the food I eat on My Fitness Pal. Here's to a healthier year, yeah?!
+I'm sick of the soggy winter weather we're having and longing for warmer days ahead. Tyler got me a Camelsback pack for Christmas and I can't wait for long hikes! As soon as the trails aren't so muddy, I'm outta here!

We hope the new year is treating everyone well so far!
