I was super excited to pull our Christmas decorations out of our storage after Thanksgiving was over. I'd forgotten what our ornaments looked like, so it was like they were new again! This year I added a bow to our tree and made a cute banner. If it was up to me, I'd decorate every inch of our apartment, but that might be a little overkill for the 600 square feet we have. Bo was very intrigued with the Christmas tree, but thankfully hasn't messed with it (fingers crossed). He did however kill the little Santa we had hanging on our doorknob. It must have been very tiring for him since he managed to to get his beard, one eye, and nose off without even taking it off the door. Now that is skill. I guess he's going on the naughty list.
Now that we've got all the decorations out, I'm trying to come up with activities to fill up our advent with. Right now it's just full of candy, which I'm not mad about. Anyone got any bright ideas?
Since Tyler did most of my Christmas shopping for me, I'm not feeling the usual excitement I do this time of year. Or maybe it's just the abnormally warmish weather we've been having... But don't worry, I've been listening to Christmas music nonstop and I'm sure as the holiday gets closer, I'll be more anxious for it to get here. Mostly I'm just excited for the long weekend we'll get, new pajamas, lots of treats, and plenty of family time. Okay, okay, I'm excited! I just convinced myself.
Now if you'll excuse me, it's past my bedtime. I hope your home is feeling especially cozy this holiday season!
